PAUL JONES is a London based session drummer now offering a remote drum recording service directly from his recording studio in South London.
As a seasoned music professional, his knowledge and experience over a 20 plus year period has helped provide that all important backbone for all artists alike including; Alison Moyet, Labrinth, Sigma, (x)Propaganda, Spacek, Alison Limerick, Mica Paris, Cleopatra (of “Comin’ Atcha” fame), Leee John (Imagination), Rodney P and Boney M. Also for international artists; Josh Milan (USA), Tkay Maidza (Australia), Rahsaan Patterson (USA), the late / great Don Blackman (USA) and the incredible Bamboo Manalac from the Philippines.
Paul’s personal taste is incredibly diverse, with strong influences coming from the late 80s rave / house scene, add hip hop, 70s funk, early jungle, drum and bass into that mix. Together, these are the foundation for the musician he is today.
Consequently, Paul’s remote drum recording service provides the very same diversity and precision but tailored to slot his drumming directly into your song(s), productions and demos!

The masterclasses address Paul’s approach to the recreation of acoustic / electronic pop music, including but not exclusive to Drum & Bass, house and garage in todays live settings.
Much of the music he has been touring with for the last 7 years has seen him using a setup consisting of Roland V Drums, TM2 / TMC6 trigger units alongside his Sakae Almighty acoustic kit with an Akai MPC1000 at the heart of it all.
