Paul Jones is currently session drummer and MD for the chart-topping drum and bass act Sigma. As a seasoned session musician, his knowledge and experience has helped take the duo from DJ sets to live shows touring around the world, including two sell out UK tours.
Paul’s work with Sigma follows hot on the heels of three action packed years in the hot seat as session drummer for exceptional UK artist Labrinth.
His deep pocket, sense of dynamics and versatility keep people knocking at his door. And his varied experience is no accident; Paul’s personal taste is incredibly diverse, with strong influences coming from the late 80s rave / house scene, plus early hip hop, 70s funk, R&B/soul, rock, jazz fusion and jungle / drum and bass. Together, these are the foundation for the musician he is today.
